L Marie’s Southern Cuisine is a hidden treasure located next to the Planet Fitness inside a shopping center off of Cobb Parkway. One Saturday night my boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat and listen to live music and we stumbled across L Marie’s which had live music at 8pm Saturday night. Parking is easy, there is plenty of parking due to the restaurant being located in a shopping center. The amicable and very professional hostess gave us the option to sit in the dining area or the bar area with the band and we chose the bar area. The ambiance was intimate and cozy. There was a couple of groups and several couples. The restaurant is very classy not too fancy but make sure you wear something nice. We decided at the last minute to go out and we wanted to try someplace we’ve never been. We could not have picked a better place. Every single thing about our experience here was perfect from the moment that we walked in to eating my leftovers the next day. We were greeted and promptly seated. I appreciated that they weren’t seating everyone in the same area, it’s as if everyone was seated so that we can enjoy our conversation and not have to hear everyone else’s. We ordered both meals off of the specials of the day and they were excellent! Perfectly seasoned and the steak was cooked as ordered. The Mr said it’s like it melted in his mouth.
